Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15, 1961) was an American actress. In the film and television business, she is famous for her many nominations and awards. Bassett is a native of New York New York and was raised by her aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five in order to be closer to their mother, who was separated from their father. Bassett was at the age of high school when she saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream to become an actor been realized. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). She met Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980, Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main characters in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
