Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since late 1980s. In the TV and film industry, she's known for her many nominations and awards. Bassett was born to her aunt in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was born and grew up at home in New York New York. At the age of Bassett was around five, she and her sister relocated into St. Petersburg, Florida to live with their mother who had divorced from their father. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in high school, and realised that it was acting she would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut granted her a bachelor's degree (1980), in African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she got married to Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. In African-American Studies, the year 1980. Masters in Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major characters in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
