She was introduced to Courtney B. Vance, an actress who was also at Yale and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in 1980. The school she attended was the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade and Boca Ciega High School.
