Angela_Bassett
Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) was an American actor. Her work has been recognized for television and in film since the late 1980s she's won numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and fostered by an aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister and their mother were moved from the city of Winston-Salem to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was just five. The father of the family had divorced their mother. When she was in high school Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actor. In the year 1980, Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She was also awarded a degree by The Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they were married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies, 1980. Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading parts in the film Ramonda in the action movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
